The Doctor's Book of Home Remedies for dogs and cats
Incredibly full of information and can help you guess when to go to the vet or when to apply home remedies. As long as I've been a dog owner, sometimes it is hard to tell what is "not right".

The Doctors Book of Home Remedies for Dogs and Cats: Over 1,000 Solutions to Your Pet's Problems - From Top Vets, Trainers, Breeders, and Other Animal Experts

This is an incredible reference book for any dog & cat owner. It consists of short articles of important situations or problems to look out for on your pate, written in a clear format by Doctors in Veterinary Medicine.

First, it defines the problem generally, then it highlights whether the problem affects dogs or cats and what steps you can take to prevent the type of problem you are reading about.

They also give you advice as to when a situation calls for veterinary action.

Each article (arranged alphabetically), ends with the names of at least 3 or 4 doctors in veterinary medicine who participated in writing the article.

Topics covered range from aggression, aging, coughing to drooling, fighting, mating problems or separation anxiety, to name a few.

You can choose to read it from cover to cover or use it as a reference book for those times you are reading articles and want a more thorough understanding of the subject.

I have used this book extensively and, it can be a wonderful tool to help you catch any health problems that might become serious in the future.
