Hello everyone! after a lot of hard work, we are back. Last year the site was hacked consistently, until all I could do to keep up was just keep the front page.I have not given up though, and this is the result! Shih Tzu magazine was born out of the love for my shih tzu Archie de Michoki. I had been dog free for quite some time before I found Archie and I did a lot of research to make sure that this breed was a match for me.

I’ve always lived with dogs, my family had them around since I was a baby. But I didn’t wonder about training until one of my poodles, Max – a lovely black as night poodle -, ran out the door and was struck by a car. I don’t remember doing anything about it at the time, I was around 7 or 8 years old, but I do remember an eagerness to always make sure the doors were properly closed at all times.

Meet this dreamboat. Though she is a lot bigger now, she was sooo cute!
Meiko is a beautiful female Shih Tzu who lives in the U.S. with Mom Denise and dad Dave. She has two wonderful doggy companions: Katie the lab & Toby, a beautiful rescue Shih Tzu.
They all get along beautifully and agree on the fact that their mom is the best.

Bruno - Finire Sumo Warrior
Bruno is one of those lucky Shih Tzu with silky hair that doesn't need to be brushed every day.
Bruno is a handsome brindle & white Shih Tzu, that lives in the faraway land of Australia. His mom, Rhonda, loves him immensely.
What I love most about this beautiful little dog is that his mother told me once that he only needs brushing once a week! He is one of those rare Shih Tzu we would all love to have!
The Sirs
The Sirs are a delight and always have a costume ready to wear!
Sir Elvis and Sir Carman belong to my dear friend Linda. Elvis is a lovely gold color Shih Tzu with a black "mask" covering his face.
Linda keeps them with semi-short haircuts most of the time.
